    A scaled-down chest of four drawers from 19th century England, circa 1850 in mahogany and marble. The removable, white marble slab forming the top surface shows wonderful clouds of gray veining under a softly etched patina and rounded corners. In the case, a stack of four drawers exhibits dramatic patterns of natural mahogany wood grain, opening by small brass knobs with faint Neoclassical references. Each drawer front is animated by a unique pair of bookmatched mahogany slices in the signature warm color and expressive, radiating waves. Keyholes are still present where escutcheon plates have been removed. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images.

    Four beautiful brass lion pulls peer out from the facade of this stunning English 19th Century Regency sideboard. They are situated upon the singular central drawer and two flanking outer doors. The right door conceals an interior containing a single fixed shelf. To the left, an interior with one fixed shelf and another adjustable shelf below. The sideboard is finished in a rich and expressive mahogany with subtle ebonized inlay trimming the drawers, doors and top. Inset brass surrounds each keyhole, although there are no keys present. The antique sits upon a plinth base. Cleaned and polished, this sturdy antique is ready for immediate use. This pair exhibits the exceptional quality and classic style embodied in antique Wedgwood pieces. Nice and clean and in very good antique condition with the expected minimal wear.
