This beautiful Louis XV style commode was made in France circa 1880, and converted into a sink in the United States circa 2010. The beautiful red marble top is outfitted with a sink and it’s fitting, as well as a backsplash and shelf. The top two drawers have been re-worked to clear the sink’s bowl, but still allow for some storage. The remaining three drawers are all in working order. All drawers are outfitted with ornate brass drop bail pulls. The drawer fronts have been finished in cleverly book-matched fruitwood veneer. Carved, scrolled feet lift the commode and accentuate its shapely skirt.
