French Early-20th Century Gold-Painted Trumeau Mirror
Dimensions: 45-1/2″H x 26-5/8″W x 2-1/2″D
An intricately detailed trumeau, with gold and painted frame, made in France circa 1900. The frame has been painted a fantastic green-gray with gold-painted accents. An urn serves as the focal point for the mirror’s beautiful crested top. Floral garlands extend from the urn to the frame’s top corners. A pierced gallery sits below. A twisted ribbon and a dashed pearl motif surround the mirror’s glass. It is the original glass present at construction, and has a beveled edge. Two decorative gilt pineapple feet lift the mirror slightly.
