    This superb antique chopping block cabinet was hand-crafted in France circa 1850. Wonderfully worn with much time and use, the cut marks from bygone chefs on the thick block top are a prominent feature. Well constructed this cabinet exhibits peg and dovetail joinery that will provide lasting stability for many more years of use. Below the chopping block is a single drawer with a simply turned pull for ease of access to a divided storage space perfect for utensils. A large open shelf lies beneath the drawer for yet more storage. Hand-carved legs with a slight splay provide a level foundation- a necessity when in the kitchen.
