The long wood planks, finished with chamfered edges, are smooth with a fine patina–as expected for the age–revealing the natural grain color under the deep rouge stain. The backrest has a comfortable slant, and offers a cantilevered shelf behind. Simple construction as three sets of legs support the whole.
