A lovely French 19th Century drop leaf extending dining table. The fruitwood has a nice warm patina. The top sits over a simple apron supported with four tapered legs on brass caps with brass casters. There are four legs, also on casters, in the center of the table to support the extension. Each drop leaf has a wood support that pulls out from under the table. The dimensions of the table with leaves down: 39-⅛”W x 21-⅛”D. When fully extended the table has 86-¾” of space available for additional table top surface making the entire table 126” wide. The leaves for the extension are missing but could be fabricated to fit.
