    An amazing painted hall bench – teeming with charm – from 19th century England. The large antique has panels with diagonally oriented wooden slats which were painted green many decades ago. The frame is finished in a dark/black paint that can still be found about the weathered wood. The seat has been left in its natural state, and a comfortable seat it is! Two drawers are hung from the bench’s bottom which have also had their fronts painted green. Their metal hardware has been painted as well. The front legs and front arm posts have been turned, and along with the rest of the bench’s frame, has patinated marvelously over the years, contributing to the bench’s overall antique, English charm. c. 1880.     A unique 19th century butler’s pantry made in England circa 1860. Beautifully crafted of English pine, these Victorian era cupboards provide abundant storage with classic style. Featuring sets of three upper and lower cabinets with plenty of shelving, this pantry easily adapts to your needs. Hand-crafted with handsome crown molding and raised panel doors that showcase the hand painted finish and a well aged patina. The large cabinet doors open on steel hinges with both decorative metal drop and simply turned wooden pulls to reveal five shelves in the top cabinets and two large shelves in the bottom cabinets that provide excellent organized storage space. No key is present for locks with simple brass escutcheons on all six doors.     This stunning armoire de mariage was crafted in France during the 1800s from richly toned solid oak. The ornately carved motifs represent the wishes of wealth and prosperity for the new couple. The cornice has an impressively carved woven basket overflowing with flowers and pomegranates that serves as the nest for a pair of doves meant to represent the new couple. Swirling acanthus leaves with flowers flank the basket beautifully and are meant to represent fertility. The top of the wonderfully paneled doors display well carved grapes on the vine to represent abundance. Each of the doors center is carved with gardening motifs meant to represent wealth: the left showcases a lush basket of fruit, flowers, and wheat while the right has a watering can, ladder, sickle, and shovel. This piece is a fantastic example of the traditional gift from the bride’s parents. Large steel barrel hinges support the hefty doors. A sizable key unlocks the doors to reveal a storage space with 3 adjustable shelves- one being the top for a drawer.     English set of eight arts and crafts dining chairs of impressive design and condition from the 1860’s. The geometric carvings are thoughtfully designed and implemented. Worn leather seats with nailhead trim are comfortable and generous in size. The leather is in gently worn condition and rich in color, complimenting their oak frames.     A fabulous rouge marble top is the perfect top for this stunning transitional French mahogany enfilade. The mahogany case antique has a unique style of its own: incorporating elements of both Louis XVI and Directoire styles. Three drawers can be found in the apron, all with brass bail handles. They are positioned above two interior cavities which vary in size: a smaller to the right and a larger to the left. Both are concealed behind lockable doors. Two keys are included for all three working locks. The smaller compartment has three adjustable shelves. The larger has two adjustable shelves. All drawers and panel doors are trimmed in brass. The drawers are separated by fluted pilasters that run to the case antique’s skirt. The entire enfilade is lifted by six finished, tapered legs which are capped in brass feet.

    A French Empire buffet made of rich flame bookmatched mahogany is classic in style. The original marble top of charcoal with white veining sits at the top of this buffet and is removable. Below is a single wide drawer decorated with a burl bookmatched mahogany veneer. The doors are flanked by handsome, turned and polished columns capped with gilt bronze ormolu at the top and bottom. When open, the doors expose two fixed shelves with abundant space for storage. Floral gilt bronze escutcheon plates adorn both doors, the lock is in working condition and has one key.
