While these are contemporary reproductions in the style of vintage Blenko lamps, the artistry of the glass will dazzle on a more traditional dining room buffet or in a living room. Each lamp takes two standard-base lightbulbs using pull-chain switches, diffused by linen drum shades which are in good condition except for a few scuffs. Down feather-wrapped seat cushions are soft and comfortable, at a seat height of 19 ¼”. The curvaceous Os de Mouton “mutton bone” frames not only give the chairs their name, but also their unique style that has lasted throughout the centuries to blend well with a multitude of interior tastes.     This pair of French circa 1900 armchairs shows the remarkable craft and creativity that defined the late Victorian-Art Nouveau period around Europe. The wood frames were patiently bent and carved to mimic bamboo stalks, terminating in elegantly scrolled arms, woven and wrapped with rattan on the armrests. Other exotic touches include fan-shaped brackets between the arm and seatback, braced with a curule stretcher joining the chair legs. Each chair comes slipcovered in a bold floral pattern, although the grey microfiber wrapping the frame is soft and attractive should one desire a more neutral look. Possibly the design can be attributed to Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia as the “Solo” collection, there are no original labels to be found that would verify this provenance beyond the quality of the materials.     This 19th century set of three oxidized copper panels are an incredible addition to any space. The deep relief floral motif showcases the great patina they have gained since their creation during the 1820’s. They easily hang from wooden brackets secured to the back. Although sizable, they are quite light. The thin, easily malleable metal makes a great medium for such detailed design.
