French 19th Century Faux Bamboo Twin Bed Frame

French late 19th century faux bamboo pine bed, reflecting the Aesthetic Movement artistry for organic forms in stylized, decorative ways. Pine planks on the flat surfaces (inside and out) glow with an amber tone in the light, revealing their signature light grain patterns and knots grain in contrast to the dark ridges of the faux bamboo “nodes” on the turned pine trim projecting ringed finials on the corners of the head and footboards . Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this antique bed is ready to inspire in your interior. Please view the detailed images. French late 19th century faux bamboo pine and bird’s eye maple bed, reflecting the Aesthetic Movement artistry for organic forms in stylized, decorative ways. The headboard projects ringed finials on the sides and above the pediment at center where faux bamboo trim crosses. Bird’s eye maple paneling on all the flat surfaces (inside and out) glows in the light, revealing its signature dotted effect in the wood grain in contrast to the dark ridges of the faux bamboo “nodes” on the turned pine trim. French 19th Century Empire Daybed

A graceful 19th-century French Empire daybed, expertly carved from solid mahogany with curvaceous swan motif. Featuring a sleigh-like profile and perfectly symmetrical, allowing the piece to float in a living room or complement a bedroom. A dotted chenille upholstery in cream is of good quality and condition, an excellent choice to feel inviting in any interior, with a single bench cushion and a pair of toss cushions at each side. The mahogany wood has been cleaned and polished with a French paste wax to restore its luster, highlighting the elegant swans on each corner, including their stylized feathers. The four piece frame has classic carvings of Rococo influenced Louis XV style with flamboyant carvings and gold gilt cartouches with hand painted flowers. French Vintage Painted Full Size Bed
