$3,200.0078.25"H x 53.13"W x 21"D
Dimensions: 78 ¼” H x 53 ⅛” W x 21” D
A Swedish pine buffet à deux corps (that is, a cabinet on chest in two sections) with origins in the 18th century designed with features and style that suit many decorating tastes and storage needs for the modern interior. The cabinet reflects that vibrant red tone of Gustavian antiques, having been made in the 1700s, which displays charming hand-painted faux bois wood grain in the shaped panels of the door fronts. Inside are two long shelves like a linen press, over six smaller drawers that open easily by iron ring pulls. The unpainted wood displays exciting movement and color in the grain. The base section of a three drawer commode appears younger than the upper cabinet, married in the early 19th century. Three drawers use turned knobs to glide easily making this a wonderful storage option for a number of rooms around the home. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax to preserve all the historic character, ready for your interior. We believe this item to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
